When Will We Learn?

People continue to be irresponsible on our roadways for reasons that we already know can be prevented...driving drunk , not wearing seat belts, speeding...

I know that individuals have the power to choose and it's not always the safest choice but there should be absolute consequences and no second chances if you choose to put other people in danger and not just yourself.

We teach kids how to be safe and to understand the responsibility of driving and how their actions will keep them safe and minimize risk ...we've got to give them that much at least and hope that they feel enough accountability for their actions that they choose the "right" option in any given situation...

Why do we lose our sensibility as adults? We get too complacent and don't realize how much risk we take everyday just getting into our vehicles to get to work. What can we do as adults to bring back that level of checks and balances every time we drive? Do we need to bring back the fear? How safe a driver are you? Do you take risks with your life on the road? Who else do you put in danger when you do that? Your family, your friends, total strangers?
