Helping Young and Expectant Moms Graduate from High School
Last month, Blueprint Education found the “Sharing the Prize Seed” Grant via a Twitter post caught by one of our employees. So we decided to team up with YoungLives (www.younglife.org/YoungLives/) to focus on helping young and expectant moms graduate from high school.
THE CONCEPT:
The annual Sharing the Prize Seed Grant program will provide two Valley non-profit organizations with $25,000 to accomplish a shared community improvement project that lifts and strengthens the greater Valley community – our kids, our neighborhoods, our schools, our underserved populations.
AN OVERVIEW:
More information on how we plan to help young moms graduate from high school can be found here
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Finalists are selected by a combination of online voting and the Sharing the Price Seed advisory board. We could use your help and the reach of your social network to gather votes.
Go to http://sharingtheprizeseed.org/grant/ and vote for “Help young and expectant moms graduate from high school” Our project description is at the bottom of the page. The voting poll is on the right hand side of the webpage and our project is listed first!
