Carwash Helps In the Healing

Losing someone you know is very difficult but when that someone is a young person the reality is even more heart wrenching.  Hope High Shcool sadly lost one of its students last week to a gunshot wound inflicted in early March.  The student was in hospice in his final days surrounded by his family and friends.

A car wash to help the family was held on Saturday, March 31st at school and a host of Hope High School staff, students, friends, along with Blueprint High School family, Blueprint's Alternative Education family, Hope High School Online's family and Blueprint Education's family all chipped in to rally around this tragedy.

Just over $1200 was collected to help the student's family with final expenses.  If you would still like to donate to the family, please contact us.

It was an amazing day of teamwork, rememberances, appreciation, and hugs for the unbelievable effort the community showed.  I know that Hope High School staff, students, friends, and especially the family couldn't have asked for a more wonderful turnout.

The road ahead is still filled with difficulty and grief but it's comforting to know that the community is there in times of need.  Thank you!
